I don't think many people are, that's why they're coming out all cloudy and with orange peel everywhere. I think that after you spray the taillight with the red paint and let it dry, I'd say about 24 hours, wet sand with 1000 grit. Then clear coat, let dry another 24 hours, and wet sand with 1500/2000 grit, and then buff and polish. This will get rid of the cloudiness. That's what I would do when I nightshaded taillights black.

Either way the red lights look a lot better than the stock Altezzas.

Never sanded mine or even clear coated it and it didn't come out cloudy,as long as you use the right paint in my opinion you should be fine,i wet sanded before paint and that was it.
