No they are the stock 03 evolution 8 tail lights.
I just put two coats of stain glass paint and cleared it.
I didn't have to sand them because the paint laid out really smooth.

Hahah, you must be the same guy that my friend told me about. He said a wingless black "MR" had "real" VII tails and Evo VIII wheels instead of the BBS. Can't wait to tell him the tails are actually painted and see his reaction.

REALLY good work on painting them man. They look better than real VII tails with that darker shade of red.

Yeah I told people they where real evo 7 tails to see if anyone would call me on it.
I wanted to see if anyone would really see the difference.
And nobody did. Full win for this thread!

And the car isn't a mr, I've been debadged the car since previous owner wanted it to look like a real mr.
but he did take care of the car
the wheels are going back on this spring, I just need new rubber. So the stockers with snow tires will do.
I didnt want to drive it this winter but there wasn't too much snow on the ground and the roads where clear. so I rolled down at a whopping 15 mph so nothing would fly up on the car.

I am definitely going to try this, I think I prefer the stained glass red over the candy red
