Did you ever get an answer on this?? It looks like I am going to have to do this. From what I can tell it looks like the metal part of the line has a puncture where it goes above the subframe?? Not sure how it happened but from what I have found its a pain in the *** to replace the line...

it took me probably 3 hours to go by myself i just cut the out line out. the easiest way was drop the rear transmission mount, front the front transmission mount and jack the trans up it will tilt the motor enough forward. run the hose through the passenger side first and work your way around the the driver side. it may take you a min but just wiggle and move the hose side to side up and down until it frees itsself between the t case and subframe. once i got the line to the sub frame i crawled underneith and feeded it through the bottom. if you have a lonnnnng extension you can tighten/loosin the bolt by going through the rim with it on the car, under the frame to the bolt if you dont want to be bent over the engine bay. make sure you have both copper washers on the banjo bolt or it will leak and you will be pissed. make sure to put some blue loctite or thread sealant on the banjo bolt. good luck
