Who knows how to remove the pinion from its carrier?

 

Build a really deep socket form the proper size by cutting in in half extending it by welding a tube in the middle. Or, put the drive shaft on it, put a pry bar through open area where the yoke meets the shaft, and use a wrench on the nut.

 

I got it. I had to heat up the inner ring of the bearing then press the shaft out

 

Bump am thinking of doing my own tear down to replace the ring and pinion if anyone has any tips?
