I was doing all the calculations on all parts even sourced from out of country. It will deffinatly cost over or around 2000$ You mostly pay double for everything because of shipping.

Ouch! Not something I was wanting to hear.

I could see maybe $1000 for this kind of project, anything over that is a bit extreme for auto climate air conditioning.

i know i want it so bad lol. I was thinking of coming up with an alternative to this a while ago just never got around to it.

Dont get me wrong the prices where the first ones i came across and i where all in new or outstanding condition. i cant read any other language so it would be hard for some one like me to go onto other forums unless i translated to pick up the parts used. But still shipping is what gets you. The hvac controls cost around 60 dollars but then another 70 to ship?? damn!

but lexcite says he can get all the parts for 500 that's really good. lol

Maybe i could send him a pm and we could work something out

LeXcite! This is an absolutely awesome achievment that you did here, I have been trying to figure out how to do this auto heater/AC control setup. I see you posted here part numbers for all the parts needed. Can you specifically post a source of every part number that you used? Website or a Certain Website with classifieds whether it is in Russia, Kazahstan or Japan I dont care I am trying to figure out sourcing of these parts and I know if I can order stuff from Hong Kong every day on Ebay I can order from Kazahstan. Are you willing to help out shipping these parts to USA? of course for a fee to make it worth for you. Can you setup a kit. and just send it to US? oh and Can you get me access to the russian website? Spasiba.

We need an electrician to whip something up.

I don't care so much for the Auto climate control, I'd just rather have electronically controlled HVAC. I'm tired of cables sticking etc and it'd be easier to have something like a servo motor that turns the blowers and not be cable-driven

good luck either way LeXcite and Acree!

I would not do this if the system is anything like the auto climate control in the evo x. Going from an IX to an X, The climate control is one of the worst features on the new car. It never blows the right temperature or volume of air, often opting to blow an arctic blast when the car is already chilly inside.

I just want the electronic-controlled temperature adjust and such, i don't care about "auto climate control", just don't want the crappy cable system.

basically, replace the manual cable system with electronic servo's and i'll be happy. i'd never set it to auto anyways

There isn't a truly manual mode, more of a semi-auto, since the temperature dial is still a thermostat and not a fixed mixture of hot and cold. It's a crappy system, even in "manual" mode.

After looking around, I have to ask if these components are interchangeable with mopar parts? MN124235 for example comes up as a dodge part when I search it. Same numbers, will it work?
