How To: Repair Spoiler Clearcoat
Stay tuned and suscribe.
My opinion i feel the old threads are vague and need a little more info, i am currently repairing my paint and i will be doing a step by step. So far its going very well.
I am using the methods of the other threads but this will be more detailed

I've been curious about this as well. Mind you I am an original 03 owner and to this day my spoiler has held up to this day, which put me in the extreme minority. However, I realize that time is not my ally and I will eventually have to do mine.

completely sand the spoiler where the clear coat is for the carbon fiber part, I did not do the bottom because it was in great shape.
You sand down to the carbon fiber part "you can tell because you will start seeing black on your hands.
Next spray Acetone on the spoiler and wipe it down, it should all be one solid color
Next tape up the portion you dont want to paint.
Spary 7-8 light coats every 10-15 mins to allow the paint to dry.
After this I would wait until the paint is cured in the sun, take a buffer and buff the spoiler
NOTE- Smoothing out the paint with a 2000 grit didnt work for me but I will be looking up some paint tips to smooth out the paint. But so far I have not had any issues with just clear coating it, looked decent without smoothing it and look fairly new
