there is a circuit for your factory gauge cluster and a fuse it located in the interior fuse box. just use a fuse tap, which you can get from auto zone or any store. run the gauges on that and they will come on/off when your other factory gauges are on...no accessory radio on/off business =]

I installed a gauge and simply quick spliced it off the power supply from the cig lighter - make sure you have a solid ground as well

Undo the center console screws; disassemble the to parts; flip it over and find the power, illumination wires. splice into those and you are set. Use 3M quick splices for 18-22 gauge wire. Should turn on with your ignition and light up. Find a solid ground location for all the gauges. Very important.

Fuse 1. With a fuse tap. The radio ****s with guages that auto calibrate like the aem because it cuts power upon cranking

So fuse #1. Meaning by the fuse box on the drivers side? If so can i tap like 5 power wires to it?
