02 sensor removal!

Hey guys need help getting this bloody 02 sensor out from the front mainfold of my evo 7 just doesn't budge

Have you tried heating it up with a torch ?

Sensor

Nope I havnt have to go pick one up but do I Just torch it until it gets red hot and spray it with penetrating oil?

Heat the manifold up around the sensor and see if you can get it to budge that way. You may have to cherry it to get it out but you run the risk of pulling the threads out with the sensor when you heat it. You can hit it with oil after heating to shock it and maybe break it loose. Be prepared to buy a tap to clean or remake the threads in the manifold if it's a real pita.

Socket

Got the sucker out snap the 02 sensor in half and got a wrench around it and torched it for like 30seconds and came loose thanks cars so much better!

Next time u can try spray with brake fluid- yes, brake fluid, soak it for 15 mins, it will come out like butter, trust me.
