HKS Kansai Low Position Seat Base/Rails!!!!

We've got a bunch available !!!!!!!!

These low position seat base/rail assemblies for the Evo are ~30mm lower than stock and are a direct replacement for the factory base assembly




We have several driver side pieces ready to go, and down to just 1 passenger side

Could this be used with a side-mount racing seat? Would the Sparco or Recaro side-mount brackets bolt to this unit?

Also - can you please tell us the weight of this unit??

that is the shipping weight (boxed and packaged)

I've never bothered to weigh just the base because it sorta doesn't matter....it's not a piece you buy to save weight, its a piece you buy to sit lower

I'm saying that it doesn't matter what it weighs, the most important factor is it needs to be substantial enough to keep your seat from breaking loose in an impact.

the weight has nothing to do with it "breaking away" though....that is all down to the design of the mount. If you look, this mount is designed just like the factory one is, it just positions you lower in the car.

I've stuffed our ITS car more times than I can count, and use an aluminum side mount for the seat...it weighs, at most, a few ounces per side....it has never moved, despite numerous impacts over the years - nothing elaborate about it's design either
