I consider Aby to be a friend of mine, and I am by no means trying to start a war here. Aby does GREAT work, but to say you could gain 25hp from a 65mm TB is insane. Aby personally told me that his 65mm TB is good for about 5hp and that is about it. He did say the real benefit is increased throttle response.
It is my personal belief that the fairly significant gains shown on the dyno graph above are a result of tuning and not the 65mm TB. I believe the car was not optimally tuned, and James Reese did a GREAT job tuning the car and making it achieve its full potential.
Please note that I am not hating here. I am simply stating what Aby himself told me, and I don't want people running around thinking they can bolt-on a 65mm TB and gain significant power. It simply won't happen.

The gains experienced on the above referenced dyno chart does point out, that some engines can respond better / have the ability to take more timing then others when a tune is optimized for it's components.
Should everyone expect to receive such massive gains.... Not at all.
They will experience tremendous response gains, great for people who daily drive big turbo'd car's who hate that mushy feeling when stepping on the throttle around town or on the freeway or for all auto crossers, as the response will allow you to rotate the car through a turn; mid-corner - out, in a more predictable manner due to the increased throttle response. The engine becomes connected to your foot & any throttle input.
For any of you auto x's that want oem screws to be applied, let us know, this tb will go un-noticed externally & will slip by most tech's if they pull your uicp to inspect
I would figure ~6-10 whp throughout the rev band to be the norm...
As a lot of people see on these boards, there are some fortunate evo owners who posses a car/engine that responds well to mods...Lucky @#$%
