thats not always true... that is just stereotyping... and some of these younger kids probably drive and are more knowledgable than you or me...

Why are all the young-ings getting so offended?

It takes experience to drive sports cars and that just happens over time. I am sure that maybe some young kids can drive cars better than old folks but nothing can take away from the years of experience you can have from driving.

Either way, nice Evo, keep it together.

i have been driving for 4 years...if you "old folks" cant get it right by then you shouldnt be driving. its not about the years its about the person. i only get offended when a guy that is older gets all pissed when us young guys can afford these cars (my parents only co-signed). im sorry to all the older people that didnt have as much money as i did when you where 18.

Well Im 31 and still havent taken my EVO to its limits...

But you know the saying "DSM=building mechanics since 1990"

I could say for myself if I had this car when I was 19 I would of killed myself.

But hey bro im happy you got a bad *** car and just be safe. I think most of this minor hate is from the young kids that give the responsible kids a bad name especially when they rev, honk or always bugging for races in there SRT4's or when daddy buys them on M3... Some of them act immature and want to race the whole world.

I ignore these guys but when Im with my girl I get pretty frustrated as I cant do anything.

Anyways enjoy your ride and BE SAFE !

5 years ago, there was the worlds fastest 4 cylinder Mitsu. powered doorslammer at Atco,NJ. It was the SAKURA Mitsubishi driven by the owner's 17 year old son Eric Yamil Torres. The first 4banger to go 7's at one of our tracks and driven by a "KID"
Chill out guys, if you are mature and cautious enough, you can learn to drive just about anything...........Congrats on the MR, be safe and as always.........GOD BLESS!!!!!!!!!

I think the issue is more thwarted towards responsibility, rather driving skills. Yeah yeah we all hate the word., but yes a good degree of knowledge on how to drive this thing helps!

Anyways we're getting off-topic soo if you guys want to have a debate make another thread. Now let's see som pics! hahah.

#1) wtf? How the hell does a 19yr old kid afford an almost 40K car + Insurance on a turbo'd vehicle. You better be kissin your parents *** for like 40 yrs of Christmas's...There's no way he bought it on his own. And I agree w/cleanevo...ain't givin' this evo a long life expentency here. An MR for a kids first real car? Parents got more $$ than sense. Nice car tho.

when i was 19 years old my civic ran 11.9... age doesn't have a one to one correlation with responsibility.. don't act like your **** don't stink, cuz you guys mess around on the street too.

Dude you're such a freaking stinge. Oh and see what you get when you bring up these asinine assumptions?

jxs1984, sorry for your loss. I'm sure the majority of us on this forum wouldn't be able to correlate with you, but you have my condolences.
