The same exact thing happened to me,.... i guess. I was coming back from a party at like 2 in the morning, on a dark side street, blasted as $hi+. So I'm riding along, not really paying attention and I hit this giant, run-over opossum (more like man bear pig), well I don't remember much, but all I do remember is the next day in the hospital, hung over, and prepared for surgery. Well all and all 112 stitches, a plate in my head and a butt load of screws I'm alive. I should tell you guys I wasn't in a Evo, or any other car in that matter but my bike, well the moral of this story is stay out of the dark, in/on any type of transportation. Don't you just love learning experiences?, I'm glad the kid wasn't hurt, his car damage will buff out, if he can afford the car he can afford to insure it.
