owned my evo for over a year. i got rear ended my my fault and even driven it in the snow Kuhmo 711's siped. why cant you OLD PEOPLE drop it. coming from people only a few years older than me just isnt cool and you OLDER PEOPLE should trade in your evo for a walker if you think this car is as crazy fast as you crack it up to be.

Damn...younger kids get so upset when we talk about "young and evo don't mix". Chill out, if you are not one of those young one that go gunning down a 25 doing 55...then is ok. I agree that most younger kids with a fast car seems to drive faster. I really hope he didn't trash the car that he bought with what his dad left him. The mom should have really do a research before just buying her son a 30K sports car. As for that EVOtagger what make "HONDA SUCKS". I don't think you can build a better car than honda can, now can you?

 

 

younger kids just don't have enough experience to drive a fast car well. I was young too, and they suck at driving. They drive reckless, I drove wreckless.

I gotten little older and am at the perfect age where driving is perfect. lol.

If someone did wreck their Evo, it would just be typical stupid Rochester crap. I grew up there and have seen it plenty of times. Usually it's mustangs and old IROC's though.

I'm 18 and pay for the Evo myself. I drive it pretty slow mostly because anything above 3.5k RPM sounds like its racing and racing = bad MPG = no money. Also this is my first manual car so I'm still learning to handle the car efficiently. However, I never drive it wrecklessly where I put innocent people in harms way. But whatever, I agree that in general kids are idiots and drive wrecklessly.

Mad respect for the honesty! Glad you are ok, now you know YOU need to be super carefull with this car. Enjoy it to the fullest, but be safe about it.

 

Hmmm..........rear end came out @ 45 mph? I just have a regular Evo and I have NEVER had the rear come out anywhere near 45 unles I had my foot on the floor going around a corner. You might want to look into a driving school like the Porsche Club of America or the BMW Club of America put on. A lot of times they open then up to other makes and they have some great instructors to help you learn how to handle your OWN car.

 

Hey...no one is bashing or flaming him. Everyone here just wanna say drive safe and just trying to make a point that IN GENERAL, YOUNGER KIDS SPEED MORE. As for your accident...how long have you been driving? I don't know man, from how you describe the accident, you don't have much driving experience. When a car start to lose control, NEVER step on the break harder. You should have try to steer to gain control back.

 

It can never be good as new again, sorry about your loss though! At least you didn't get hurt.
