MY Wicked White EVO MR!!! PICS!
Congrats on the new car man. I'm turning 19 in december and, while it would be fun to have an evo, if they had them in Canada, I'm sure I wouldn't be the most "responsible" driver. I'm not talking about pulling illegal and dangerous crap, I'm just talking about being an *** of a driver. Unfortunately for our age group and our sex, much of the assumptions on this forum are right. At least you can say you paid for yours though, that might help with the maturity, since you crash the car and its your money down the drain as opposed to your parents. I'm just tired of all these rich spoiled brats who get very nice cars and don't respect the car. I had tons of those at my high school. Kids who got their BMWs, Lexus's and WRXs bought for them and had no sense of how dangerous they're cars could be. Then they had the ***** to call themselves "good" drivers and challenge the knowledge of people who hav been driving since before these brats where even stains on their dads mattress. Just do what you can to be an exception rather than a rule.
I agree, MR is sweet, just be carefull, no hate here.
1) get used to the car before you push it hard thru the corners.
2) get all season tires (A MUST) I got conti extremes cheap. (otherwise you
will hate the car in winter and drive like a gramma :-) 10mph
3) when its cold outside/snow whatever dont change the lane too quickly,
or you might go sideways
contgs, man, and enjoy....

Definetely head the advice from tweakdsm. I understand about the younger kid thing. I myself am 18 years old and have saved up since 5th grade for a car and wanted an evo ever since the evo 5 came out, my previous cars were two SUV's and a beater miata i used for the autox. I got my 03 for 25k, one check, out the door. Just remember man, be careful and treat that car with respect, everyday i see it I have to remember just how lucky i am to have a car like this. Don't ever take it forgranted and DONT RACE ON THE STREET! I know its hard because all your friends with their cars are gonna wanna run it, DONT DO IT. Good luck man and congrats.
Congrat on the car man and plz stop judging a book by its cover ppl. I do admit 80% of young kids out there dunno ****s about driving and such I am 23 now. But back then I was driving my 4dr automatic civic .When I was younger I was able to beat the crap out of turbo s14/porsche 944/s2000 etc on the canyon. There are exceptions out there. OLDER don't mean u drive better I see a lot ppl own high performance cars (porsche, ferrari etc) but maybe 30% of them actually know what they are doing. Oh yeah I see young kids around my area drive nsx, porsche 911(I knew a girl who got a 911 from her dad on her 16 b-day). I just feel bad for their parents though cuz it's kinda like they paying money to get their children killed.(for those that dunno what they are doing anyways). BTW since you used to drive FF. Make sure you don't brake late at the middle of apex or use full throttle enter the corner cuz AWD oversteer more than FF. Just my 2 cents. and plz don't use the car just to drag

Is either you are a big time lair or they weren't racing you. If you are telling the truth, then you should really try out to be a F1 driver for ferrari. Back on topic, nice car.

. Let's just say they low performance driver in high performance car? Also my civic rolled off the cliff and got totalled due to gravel/rocks on the road after a rainly day. So I am not saying I am god or something lol
Stop the hating. He got an awesome car and you're just jealous. Hell, I am only 16 and have the ability to walk into a Mitsubishi dealership and give the salesman a check for the price of an Evo and walk out with it. AND pay for the insurance. AND I earned the money myself. Only problem is my parents won't let me. I can understand their reasoning too, as I would probably get myself killed in such a fast car with less than a year of driving experience.
Anyways, sweet car man. Take care of it, and show it off like crazy!
