Chill out... there were some defective ones in the batch that caused a delay. I have done business with him before and he has always followed through. You can have a defective one shipped on schedule or you can wait a few and get a quality piece. He is serious about customer satisfaction. Online forum sales is volatile and he wants to make sure there are no complaints. Mine are a bit delayed as well, but I will trade the delay for insurance that I receive a quality piece in the end.

im in the same boat as evo mr. i got no mounting anything with mine

im also VERY discouraged that this lip slides on OVER the stock lip.
i wasnt aware of this when i purchased
i needed a new lip cause my stock lip was destroyed by a cone on the freeway

im going to take my bumper off this weekend and see if there is any way i can make this thing work

otherwise it may soon be for sale or if i can being returned to the vendor.

the weave looks decent though... no better or worse than the gruppe-s ones aside from the fact that it doesnt replace the stock lip

im bummed on that.

i don't know anything about manufacturing CF...but i DO know that FULL fiberglass front bumpers for hondas go for about the same price as what they are selling this lip for... I really like this front lip, but i have to agree with Mevolution2002... I'm sure that they are making a huge profit... at least on the fiberglass version...

Okay guys here is the deal....

as of right now I dont see how this thing will ever fit without some major modification of the CF lip or shaving my factory one (which i REALLY dont want to do)

Maybe i'm installing it wrong (along with 2 other people who also cant seem to make it work). I will post pics of how off the measurements are so maybe evo-mr can tell me what to do.

There is NO mounting hardware (no double sided tape, I went out and bought some) there are about 8 tabs that I have to drill holes through

I have tried to put it over the factory lower lip and it was too small, then I took the factory front lip off and it was too big... it also has some pretty good sized gaps.

I MIGHT be able to make this thing work but I would have to shave ALOT of it off... I just want to be assured that I will still be able to get my money back if I cant get it to fit...

EVO-MR please help me!!! I really want this lip on my car, but as of right now its not looking like its gonna happen. Maybe I got a difected lip, maybe you could send me a new one

Chris

p.s. I will upload some pics so you can tell me if i'm doing something wrong

No Chris you have to install this lip on top of the oem front lip, we have about 3 poeple fittted this front lip and tell you honestly yes you need 2 poeples, its kind of tight so just force it in.

You should be ok, please send me the picture ok......about the hardwares yes it doenst comes with hardwares.

The best and easier way to install the front lip, is to take out the front end and install the lip while the front bumper is not attach to the car.

Good Luck

alright here is the pic of the driverside the best I could make it fit

okay with the driverside lined up this is the best I could get the passenger side (as you can tell its about an inch or 2 short

some head on pics

more

to make the lip fit any better I would either have to cut some of it or pull it and hope it can stretch a little bit (but I dont want to break it... the little I did try to stretch it I heard cracking) but still was no where close to fitting right

k, I am the guy who helped him "TRYING" to install it. Just to start of by saying that I have installed many kits on many cars including C-west kit on my S2000 so when you give me a lip I will make it fit if there is a chance. However, I am sorry to say that this lip is off and I see NO way of making it fit with out shaving the stock front lip or shaving the carbon fiber lip (I SEE NO WAY PERIOD). I have spent with Chris 2 hrs trying to install it so if you say that it will take me 2 hrs to install a front lip I will laugh at you. You cant force carbon fiber in its not plastic and with even that I have tried with Chris to force it with every possible way and it did NOT work period. I have told Chris to return it and hope for something better as I can see his frustration at that time. Asking him to take the front bumper to fit a front lip is unreasonable as with the front bumper mounted you will have better grip. Just imagine how many people will hold the front bumper if it is off the car and how many will put the lip on?? It will be a total war. The lip looks nice and I like it in fact I have offered $50 to buy it from him (JK).

I went down to the garage and tried to install it once again...just to make sure I tried every possible angle... with further inspection I notice that there is no way this will fit with the factory lip on... the tabs on the back of the CF lip hit the bottom of the factory lip and will not allow it to sit flush. either the factory lip needs to come off (then the CF lip is too long) or I need to cut the tabs off the CF lip and hope it will fit. But I am afraid that if I cut these tabs off and it still doesnt fit I will be unable to return the product.

please get in contact with me and let me know my options...

as you stated in a previous post "satisfactoin guarenteed"

quote evo-mr
''The weave cannot be perfect, out weave is about 95% right, the rest of the 5% minorly twisted, but you cannot really tell unless you eye ball it.
Yes its if you customer happy I will be happier, any of you received the front lip and not happy with it just let me know."
