buying tape and screws is no problem. fitment is what i am worried about and also what is holding the lip into the stock lip up top closest to the bumper? the tape? or does your lip have a "lip" on the top to where it can be "wedged" in the space where the stock lip meets the bumper? if not how do you expect the lip to stay on the front with only tape. eventually it will come off as the tape gets wet due to weather or cleaning and you'll have a gap in the front where it is supposed to be flush.are the screws drilled into the bottom of the stock lip? i'm sure i am not the only one wondering about these questions. if it doesn't fit like another member on this board can we get our money back or have a better fitting one made free of charge for the inconvenience? please clarify.

i planned on taking the bumper off to do this anyways.

NONE OF THESE LIP INSTALLED WITH DOUBLE-SIDED-TAPE NOR ANY HARDWARES YET, this is possible because the design is very tight. BUT FITs PERFECT.

IN AVERAGE, just to slap on the lip took about 30-40 SECONDS.
TAKING OUT THE FRONT END, SECURING THE LIP PROPERLY, LIDS UP MARLBORO etc-etc might takes good 20-30 minutes.

AGAIN PLEASE TAKE OUT THE FRONT BUMPER & TAKES 2 TO TANGO OK.

alright....

I got the lip on but the damn tabs are not letting it sit flush... it makes the middle of the lip not line up (hangs to low) the tabs are pushing against the facotry ones soooo much... the only way for me to make it line up right will be to cut the tabs off but then I have no way to secure it on the bumper besides the two sides

Heru... I have pm'd you my phone # please call me ASAP!!!!! I have my front bumper off the car and lip almost on, I need your advise. I need to get the bumper back on asap cause I need to go to work

I just called.....
the front lip tab will need to be insert to the front diffuser / under-tray, and the undertray will hold the lip by the tab, that is why the tab is so long. If you find this tab is hard to install just cut it off, I didnt even use on my car.

Okay.... I finally MADE my carbon fiber lip fit...thanks for the help Heru.

Well like I said before there was no way this thing was going to fit with the tabs on there so I dremeled them off and bam it slid into place!!! almost perfect from the front.

The only downfall is that the lip is about an inch short cause I couldnt get it to fit perfectly on the side (I pushed so hard it ended up cracking)

So after I cut the tabs off I drilled holes in the bottom of the CF lip and into the factory lip and secured it with bolts, washers, and nuts... and did the same thing on the the sides (i was going to use a rivit gun but I couldnt find the damn rivits in my garage.

well on to the pics (by the way I did not use any tape

from the back side (showing how I cut the tabs and secured it, reason I used so many washer was to fill the gab)

closer view

Here is the final product along with some of the tools I needed to make it work

The side view, with the bad gap (same on other side) this lip needed to be about an inch longer total. I could not get this thing to fit (trust me it looks like it would from the pic, but thats as good as it was gonna get), I pushed so hard to try to make it fit I cracked it a little bit

ON the car

I will post some more pics tomorrow after I give it a bath and it s sunny outside
