In my opinion this lip is good fitment.
I bought Cwest lip for IS300 and it was hard to put on. and no customer service to call for help.

It started cracking after I tried to "force" it in because it didnt fit right.
I'm not saying the lip doesnt look good, but I just wasnt happy that I had to do some pretty extensive modification to make it fit.
I can fix the gaps on the side by cutting the back piece off and riviting the sides down but then I will have a silver rivit showing on the side
also my lip is different then the ones you show in your vid... I notice the ones in you vid the CF weave comes to a point in the middle of the lip (like this ///\\\ ) mine does not, mine is just a solid weave
but my thought on this is Yes I paid for a replica lip that may not look as good as the du luck, but I plan on tracking my car and if I had paid close to $700 for a CF lip that gets beat up then I would get very angry...but with this one I wont mind as much
just my $.02

So Chris now he is saying you forced too much
... I don’t know what he wants forcing or no forcing or maybe half forcing. Kindly send us a video in the mail that is about 2 hrs long to teach us what forcing is. Although I would prefer that you send an installer with it so the amount of force that you need is exact.
I was thinking about buying one myself but not after what you said buddy...
I want one of these parts bad, really sets the Evo off, But it costs almost as much as ther real one and does not fit properly? I mean I am sure it is a nice looking piece, I am just not sure why it is very expensive?

i understand that cf can't possibly be made perfect but the things i see could have been avoided if a little more time was taken. will also take pics and see if my friend can post them for me.

come on other people... I know someone else has gotten this lip, I want to see if I was the only one who had to modify the hell out of it to make it fit.
Sucks to hear about your lip weave being fu*ked up. Mine is also, but I expected that going into this. I guess you really do get what you pay for some times. If I wanted an absolute perfect one I would have shelled out the $700 for the real do luck. But I at least wanted it to fit properly for $380, and not have to be cut, drilled, and modifyed by me
