If I'm not mistaken the gap is due because of the crack, he force to much. That is why there is a gap on the side.
In my opinion this lip is good fitment.
I bought Cwest lip for IS300 and it was hard to put on. and no customer service to call for help.

Overall the lip looks nice. In the vids, I don't see any gaps whatsoever on the lip and the bumper.

Thanks. I'll test fit it and take pics, but it won't stay on til I can swap out my S-Tech's for some H-Tech's. The lip would be hating life and probably won't have much of a life if it stayed the height its at now. Plus.....I don't have my CE's on it right now either so you won't get the full effect.

Pics will come ASAP.

NO.... the gap is due to it not fitting properly! besides you are the one who said "you have to force it in, we make these lips tight"

It started cracking after I tried to "force" it in because it didnt fit right.

I'm not saying the lip doesnt look good, but I just wasnt happy that I had to do some pretty extensive modification to make it fit.

I can fix the gaps on the side by cutting the back piece off and riviting the sides down but then I will have a silver rivit showing on the side

also my lip is different then the ones you show in your vid... I notice the ones in you vid the CF weave comes to a point in the middle of the lip (like this ///\\\ ) mine does not, mine is just a solid weave

but my thought on this is Yes I paid for a replica lip that may not look as good as the du luck, but I plan on tracking my car and if I had paid close to $700 for a CF lip that gets beat up then I would get very angry...but with this one I wont mind as much

just my $.02

So Chris now he is saying you forced too much ... I don’t know what he wants forcing or no forcing or maybe half forcing.

Kindly send us a video in the mail that is about 2 hrs long to teach us what forcing is. Although I would prefer that you send an installer with it so the amount of force that you need is exact.

I was thinking about buying one myself but not after what you said buddy...

got mine on monday but didn't pic it up from my parents place till today. personally i think the quality could have been a lot better if more time was taken. weave is kind of messed up and crooked. bottom front by the sides the weave is stretched so much that you can see light throug it which i can look over and just use some black paint on the back side to fix this. he should have waited longer before they bubble wrapped it because i have little round marks all over the lip. i'd say about 20-30 spots. maybe it can by buffed out, i don't know. in spots the clear coat was put on too heavy and it dripped and dried. sides look kind of crappy. i was able to look over most of this but the thing that pissed me off was that there was a thick carbon fiber thread about 1/4 in wide looped on the front of the lip. if the threaded weave was taken out and pulled straight it would probably be about 4 inches long. don't know if you guys know what i am talking about here. for example if you were to take a piece of hair that was 1/4 inch thick and lay it on the ground in a loop. this is what it looks like on the front of my lip. if they would have examined it before they clear coated it this could have been avoided. going to call heru and see what he can do about this. i am not too happy with the quality mainly due to the strand of cf thread and bubble marks. will try and fit this thing on my car tomorrow morning and see if it is worth keeping or sending back for another better made one.
i understand that cf can't possibly be made perfect but the things i see could have been avoided if a little more time was taken. will also take pics and see if my friend can post them for me.
anyone else get their lip besides EVO MR?

come on other people... I know someone else has gotten this lip, I want to see if I was the only one who had to modify the hell out of it to make it fit.

Sucks to hear about your lip weave being fu*ked up. Mine is also, but I expected that going into this. I guess you really do get what you pay for some times. If I wanted an absolute perfect one I would have shelled out the $700 for the real do luck. But I at least wanted it to fit properly for $380, and not have to be cut, drilled, and modifyed by me

true. i didn't expect the weave to be perfect either but that loop shouldn't have been there. hopefully mine will at least fit we'll see in a couple hours when my friend gets here to help me get it on.
how do you recommend i sand down the drip spots? what kind of sand paper and wet sand it?

is it possible to get some of that clear coat off so i can cut the loop out and put some kind of clear coat back on? if so give me some instructions somebody. thanks.
