For those of you that are wingless

Im thinking of taking the wing off for now until i get my cf trunk. If i decide to put it back, what do i need to put it back? Special adhesive? Double sided tape? Thank you....

It comes with doublesided tape along with 4 bolts from the factory, but you don't need it to put it back on.

i just toke my wing off a week ago, im enjoying look, the ability to see perfectly from my rear view. buttt i do miss having it on. always gets more looks. but yea its 4 screws, it can easily be taken off and put back on. i how ever broke one and the threaded part is stuck in the wing. so this weekend or next i will have to fix that.

Yeah, I've had mine on and off a couple of times, and it stays fine everytime just the way it was stock.

You can find all sorts of plugs for cheap at just about any auto store or a big hardware store. I bought several just to make sure i had the right fit. Then i just used black hot glue instead since my cars black. Worked like a champ and was easy to scratch off and put my wing back on when i wanted to. easy as pie to do.

I just leave the holes open... Any water or dirt just runs into the rain channels of the trunk.

just in case your worried about the trunk getting rain inside, don't be. Because directly underneath the holes where the wing is mounted are rain guides. When its pouring out and you have your holes all wide open don't worry because the rain will be guided down the rear bumper. You can simulate this with a hose directly on top but dont stick the hose inside the hole haha.
