So, between 1pm-7:30pm my Evo and my friends 02 SC'd Mustang GT got keyed pretty badly, we file the report and then I go outside my dorm w/ the car to pickup a couple guys for Ultimate...I'm sitting there in the loading zone and a truck backs out and turns straiiighhhttt into my front left fender/frontend. My insurance covers the keying w/ a $200 deductable and his insurance is covering the damage to the car...which hopefully is only cosmetic but I have no f'ing idea, it is parked on the grass right now for all to see because I have to trim the fender before it can be driven to a shop. looks like I need to get ready for a new build, the evo is gonna come back bigger and badder than before. the car is keyed on every panel except the drivers' side mirror and the sideskirts, all down to metal from the looks of it.

Look at this way you are still lucky to go to college and your luckier than 4 billion people in the world that live in poverty and can't afford a car.

I love my car very much and would be just as pissed but in the end it just a car and it will be fixed. Don't let it get you down.

nah i have no idea who it was...i really hope i dont find out though. they got away w/ one this time, but if i find out who it is i'll flip out and so would pretty much anybody else on campus who knows cars, this is the only evo we've got here and we're proud of it. my buddy and i were parked in a lot that is pretty dimly lit and not close to the road so, i got permission from security to park in the non overnight parking outside my dorm every night, things should be safe now.

Damn dude, I can't even begin to imagine the rage you must be feeling. The person who did this was obviously a self-hating bitter low life and deserves to have his legs broken. Hopefully karma will hit whoever did this right in the face. Seeing crap like this makes me want to get a beater for a daily driver car and carry a gun on me at all times. Personally nothing would give me more pleasure than catching one of these a$$holes and shooting them in the kneecaps. My blood is boiling and it's not even my car that got vandalized, so I feel for you and give you props for keeping your cool in this situation. Did the cops try to get any fingerprints?

On the bright side of things, you could possibly consider getting the car sanded and resprayed in a different color that is if the insurance is welling to help out. With the damage of the front, the insurance could possibly cut you a check large enough to buy a new bumper, fenders, and headlights. Keep in mind that the situation is temporary and definetly repairable, no doubt the evo will look better than before when it's back to normal. Keep us posted on any updates!

I just asked myself the same question. It's sad that there are so many people out there who get a rush out of pissing people off and making their lives miserable.
