im no expert, but it does appear to be too narrow. (not wide enough)

did you buy it from a dealer, or a dealer off the internet.


why don't you pull up the weather strip and take some pictures.

I had the same issue and it was because i didn't have the aluminum roof ! They're shaped different around that area !

WHHHAAAAA! I hear this NOW! after I just dropped 180.00 bucks today.....
So the 04 MR only came with an aluminum Roof?

the 04 MR didn't come with a roof at all the MR only came out in 05

I have an 04 and it fits pefect. Take it off while you still can. Same thing happened to me first try I installed it. You have more space on the other side, that's why it came short.

04 MR? I'm familiar with only the 05's ,rs and mr with the alum.roof ! Correct me if i'm wrong!

that makes me feel a little better, but still makes no sense. buringmoney had an 06 bby and his looked perfect from his pic's.

i installed mine and had little gaps as well, i looked on an 06 IX MR and i saw the same gaps .....so i figured that it was normal
