anybody parting out their SE front lips already?

 

i saw a black and a grey SE today i like the black better it looks good in person

 

nothing really special... I'll still go with the SSL package. front lips? There are lots of aftermarket lips. rims? you'll get tired of it in 2 mos.

The SE is pretty cool for the GSR...HIDS and aluminum roof are worth the package price. The MR SE doesn't make sense to me though as there isn't anything that screams Special for the MR SE over the MR. Frankly, I like the 06 Recaros vs. the 06 SE Recaros.

 

if they offered the se in electric blue, i woudl've waited. the hids, aluminum roof and the bbs rims are nice.

 

I totally agree with you on all points.

Additionally, I REALLY liked the wheels on the SE package too. The new finish looks amazing and unique. Pictures do not do them justice. You need to see them in person to appreciate them.

^^^ Black Chrome? No, not really. I think the closest thing on a production car to compare to would be the finish on the 00-04 BMW M5 wheels. Like I said, I think you really need to see the wheels in person to appreciate the finish. Pictures do not show it well.

 

So did the SE's get any more powerful or did just bascially pimp out the IX? Whats so speacial about them besides the body?

 

The only benefit I see of getting the MR SE is if you wanted it in black. The lip blows *** and will be the first thing to go. The wheels are nice and all.

So basically the hike you pay on the MR SE over the MR is for

-gay lip
-red stitching
-black steering wheel spokes
-se badge
-addition of black as a color option
-different finish on the wheels

 

So SE = IX MR in black and silver, front lip, and red stitching on the seats?
