How much is the price difference?

 

The "MR SE" does not have an SE badge on the tunk. Only the SE has that.

And all 2006 Evo IXs have the black steering wheel spokes to my understanding.

 

I find the SE a huge let down personally. The only positive thing I could think of is that the MR comes in black. Just stating my opinion.

Cannot wait to see the UK/JDM trunk badges that read "EVOLUTION IX MR SE" the damn badge would go from taillight to taillight!

The complaints some of you have about the looks are exaggerated. The front lip is barely a front lip and the red stitching is a modest change.

 

Amazing, I always knew a black MR would look stunning!

 

BTW, anyone know pricing on the SE front lip?

 

Bump for this...I would definitely be interested in buying one...its not big and goofy like most of the lips out there.

 

Pure BullS@#t comments are flying around in here right now. The Se is perfect for those who wanted the BBSs and the hids and fogs without buying an MR. Thats pretty much it. In person, the car clearly looks better than the base model and the lip is really similar to the amuse lip for the S2000(which i loved) but its a lot more subtle. The car is hot and for for 1500 bucks extra, I gotta say its the best bargain out there. Oh, forgot to mention that it was the second lightest Evo trim now. Not that it matters on the street.

I must agree that the IX SE (non MR) is REALLY a good value. You get everything that really matters from the MR in a cheaper and lighter package and you can get it in black.

 

Haha, I've already been thinking about it. I need to wait a little though so I dont void my warranty right away.
