CF hood+Cold weather=???
CF hood+Cold weather=???
im pretty sure this isnt a good idea as the hot+cold from the motor and outside temps will crack the hood correct? Just wanted to see what your opinions are bc i got into a accident wit front end damage n if a body shop is gonna charge me outta my *** for a stock hood i might as well get a cf...also does anyone know/tried how like c-west front bumpers and other bumpers hold up in the snow???

My seibon cf hood was absolutely fine last winter. I drove the car just about every day. Granted it was kept in a garage when it wasnt being driven so it never had a lot of snow collect on the hood and weigh it down. But going from cold to hot to cold constantly did not seem to do anything to it.
When you get the CF hood take the time to have it "re-cleared" Every part i ever put on my old car or my friends put on there cars, we had extra coats of clearcoat put on, They never faded or lost that nice wet look! Trust me it will save u a ton a money as comparedf to having to buy a new one in a year...
