so if im wanting to go back with HID headlights, and i just need the housing's, which ones would i need to look for? usdm, jdm??? im getting a bit confused, i have the USDM stock hid setup that comes with the 03 evo had the silver housing. im wanting to go back with the MR type housing black with lowerr amber lights on bottom, can it be done
yeah, just buy some JDM MR headlights for HID, they're usually around $600-$700 for both of them. if you just want a replacement headlight for the one that's busted(USDM), on the net they're around $360 each. the HID ballasts are interchangeable between both, they're just different colored housings and turn signals.

You can just buy the MR headlights from one of the many vendors on here. When you buy the housings you need to swap your HIDs into it. That what we all have to do. I did this when my JDM housings came in. It is a simple process. About 5 minutes per headlight.

I personally would swap the projectors as well to get the correct cut off, but its a bit more involved than the bulb/ballast swap
Or you can just a pair of HID housings only from evo dave
yes you do. If you have OEM mitsu HID's then you will need to get the OEM HID headlights. Reason being, the HID headlights have an area at the bottom of the headlights where the ballast goes.
