Porter Cable question

I just got a porter cable the other day along with some 6.5 inch pads, but it seems that you really need a smaller pad to polish an Evo because of all the body lines and edges. So my question is; what size pad do all of you use when applying polishes, sealants, ect.?

8 inches? That just doesn't sound right for a porter cable. That sound more like something you would use on a rotary. Anyone else have some input on this?

6.5 here, unless I'm doing serious scratch correction then I use 4.

Alright so it sounds like I should be ok with the 6.5 pads that I have. Thanks for your help.
