Possible to remove taillight lens w/o dremel?

Used the search function to no avail, is it possible to remove the tail light lens without using a dremel? Such as using a heatgun and carefully prying it off.

I was gonna go with Depo's too but I got a hold of a extra pair of tails for dirt cheap ($50) so I am just gonna open these up.

bake it
its so damn easy
pre heat the oven to 400F, after it beeps, turn the oven off and put the light in
make sure you take out all the bulbs
wait for about 5-7 minutes and try prying them off

do this for the tails? I know that the headlamps work like that, but I have been told a few times that the tail lamps have to be dremeled apart...If thats the case, these bI^(#es aer getting done this weekend...

Lightingevo03 hit the nail on the head just buy a heatgun. it's the safest way to do this. The oven works but things can go bad fast with that option, i know from experience with other cars. if you choose to do the oven method just be very careful, you could end up with deformed tails...

You will have to use a dremel, knife, or some kind of blade. The tails are definetly harder than the heads. The adhesive is much harder.

Clarification on this possibly??

So sorry to bump an ancient thread But I only know two answer and I'm wondering if there's a definitive answer on this? I don't want to dremel but we'll buy one if need be, I'm looking to retrofit a pair of my tail lights and if it says easiest baking it without melting the housing that sounds a lot easier than dremeling.

I have baked many head lights and tail lights. If applicable, you will have more difficulty convincing the gf or wife to let you put a headlight in the oven. Just start low, like 200-250 degrees and try prying it. If it doesn't pry, pop it back in the oven and repeat until the two halves separate. Be brave.

*edit*. Don't rest the headlights or tail lights lens side down on anything if possible. They scratch so easily it's not even funny.
