Sneak Peak @ my time attack build
I snapped a few photos recently of what I have been working on with my Evo to get it ready for the 2008 time attack season.
Test fit: 18"x 9.5" +28 Volk CE28N Time Attack + APR Performance Forumla GT3 Mirrors...
Caliper clearance without spacers!
New Toyo R1R 140 Treadwear street tires. These are the 265/35/18 ones that I ran at the very end of 2007. 255/35/18s are on there way...
Longacre Hot Lap Timer...
Display...
Reciever...
And finally G-Force 5-Point harnesses to replace the cool, but now illegal (in Redline Time Attack) Prodrive 4-Points...
Much more to come soon!
Installed but not pictured:
- ACT Clutch/Flywheel
Waiting to be installed:
- BC Racing Coilovers
- Berk Technology 3" High Flow Cat
- GTSPEC front lower tie brace
- Kognition Design Carbon Kevlar front diffuser
- Whiteline roll center + bump steer kits
- AMS front brake duct kit
- Front tow hook
- ARP wheel studs
- Vinyl graphics

Nothing new for no unfortunately. Still debating on what I want to do with it. Since I am still pretty new to the Evo scene I want to do my research a bit more first. Eventually my goals are to be in the ~450whp range on unleaded race fuel reliably. And obviously a quick spool is important for road racing so I want to see what will be the best road to achieve my goals before I dump a ton of money under the hood.

Thanks guys!
gixxerman11 - Usually a sponsor will only give you parts that they themselves make. Unfortunately for me, none of my sponsors make major engine upgrades for the Evo.

Relentless Autosports knows how to tune, and they have tuned my car to ~340whp with the minor bolt ons it already has on it. They don't make a turbo kit for the car though.
Good luck to you as well. You most likely will see me at the east coast time attacks if you are there, however, I will be driving someone elses car.
