Ralliart Mud Flaps Installed

Received the Ralliart mud flaps and installed them last night. The mud flaps come with aluminum brackets which bolt up to various places within the wheel well. It is interesting that there are indentations within the wheel well which the brackets fit within.

Basically they are well made and fit like the are made for the car

I uploaded pictures of the installation instructions to timzcat's ftp server as a pdf. They are in his installs directory named, MitsubishiMudFlaps.pdf.

With actual driving experience it is very noticeable that the front flaps (positioned at maximum outboard position) keep road junk off of the car and in the wheel well.

While this is not a picture of my car they look exactly like this (I have the same color Evo).

I agree.

Where I work the parking lot is more or less rubble. Now at least I can drive in and out of the lot without crap getting thrown up onto the car by the front wheels.

I should comment that on a prior car the front wheels were similar to the Evo in that they stuck out beyond the fenders. This in turn allowed rocks to get tossed into the mirrors, doors, etc. This got old after awhile when the paint starting showing the wear.

So I'm not in love with the looks (mud flaps are not a fashion statement) but I'm happy with the results.

Do you have pics of them on your car? The photo in your initial post makes them look pretty bad on the rears...

Some like the looks, some hate them. Here is a link to the mud flaps installed on my car.

Enjoy....
