Since you live in Chicago make sure you don't go overboard or your car will be more of a cop magnet than it probably already is. I live in Chicago myself and I have 50% on the front 2 and 22% on the back three. IMO 5% looks too ghetto but 22% is a nice compromise. Make sure you get good tint too, mine is triple layer and it has a lifetime warranty against discoloration or fading. I had it installed for $250 at Ziebart.

Ya, Im definitely feeling the 20-25%, dark but not too dark... Im assuming Ziebart is a shop? Ill check it out...

 

Oh and DSMEVOLUTION, was that 250$ for the whole job???

 

i just got my window tinted 30% in the front ans 15% in the back, i need to get some pics

 

i had a lady in NB do them. she hooks it up with a good price and she does incredible work. i've had a total of 7 trucks/cars tinted by her and have never had any problems. i can get you in if you want.

 

15% on the back and 20% on the front.
