anyone cleaned thier headlights

my head lights are starting to look bad anyone got thiers cleaned? how were the results

what do you mean bad? pitting or discoloration on the lenses? it's pretty easy to wet sand and buff them

I've used the two part Meguiars plastic cleaner/polish on mine a few times and it works great. I think they're cleaner than when the car came off the car lot.

I used engine degreaser and it works great. My headlights wre pretty bad and they look almost brand new

i went sand my headlights with 1000 grit, and use a small buffer to bring the shine back.

Check out Plexus, that's what I use and it works great, I think it's used mostly on aircraft.

i dont think i would go any lower than 2000 grit if you plan on wet sanding them. use a good cutter wax to.

I PC mine with Sonus ultra fine polish and a Sonus finishing pad they stay looking new.

wow thanks for the input everyone not gonna have a chance to clean them up till this weekend but im looking forward to having it look new again i hate being the evo with the bad headlights
