AWD doesn't mean crap without good tires and slight driving skill.

 

I remember the first post I ever read on NASIOC was someone telling off a kid about how AWD won't instantly make you an amazing driver. I was like younger and it stuck with me. Now I know from my own experience. Still a funny meme though and I still see people expecting miracles from AWD.

No updates, might have lost a shipment on my axles (got them from Poland) or I got scammed out of them. Axles are the only thing holding me back. Evo 8/9 ones will not work.

 

Damn pollacks! Oh wait...

On a serious note, that really sucks. Are these front and rear, or just one set? I can't wait to see the pics of you making that thing AWD. Remember to take a ton if you can please!

Sorry for all the inactivity. Got caught up with work, so I have little time to actually work on the car. Also having the car be my daily driver doesn't help out much.

So in attempt to remedy my need for a new ride to work, I bought a Kawasaki ZX6R. I was hoping to sell my engine, and with the funds buy a RHD front clip. However that didn't work out so now I can finally start my swap, without worry about how I'm getting to work.



Also I was able to get some new parts on. Evo 6 clear corners, as the amber ones weren't cutting it for me.

Wow, 35 pages, and a lot of inspiring to do. I have a question though if I buy a complete wrecked EVO VIII can I transfer the entire drivetrain and engine into a Lancer like this one and make it into an EVO VI?
