Thanks for the comments everyone, it's a lot of fun when you get to build your own car to such an extent. That said, more updates!

Tommi Mak gauge cluster, only 5k miles on it!

You can find your engine swap for the evo you need from. Great job on the build only draw back that I saw was that you kept spending money on head lights painting the trunk and and stuff from the begin of your build, how much did you spend so far on this build? Just wondering so I can get a general idea on my evo III build. But great build and I really hope you finish soon. ++=

no I sold the car to my mechanic as soon as I brought it I only wanted the block out of it and he wants to use an evo 8 valve cover since the evo 5 PCV valve is plastic and the evo 8's is metal. he does want to sell the front bumper though if you interested in that.

that is a crazy price for an engine. evo engines here sell for peanuts compared to that price. i recently sold an evo 7 engine without the turbo for 300 euro.

the thing is we don't have evo engines like that over here so they sell pretty expensive. about 5 years ago the nissan sr20's used to be pretty expensive here but now since there so common now they sell for about $200-$500 bucks now (motor only) well if you have an evo motor tanny wiring and ecu for sale send it here to me for 300 eruos (about $400 USD) I will buy it right now!!

Sweet build man. The only build I did similar was converting a 1979 Scirocco Storm 1.6L 8v into a 1988 16v 1.8L PL except the body but everything else. Any updates? I was supposed to get work done today but instead I have been reading your entire thread.. Damn you! :P
