welcome to the world of modded lights. People don't really dish out $350 for tails lights, they have multiple people painting them.

What can I use to remove the Krylon red paint without damaging the tails? I want to try and redo mine.

I pulled my housings apart this last weekend, painted the amber, the assembled them. I then slight smoked the whole lens on the outside and cleared it. Looks dope. Will buff it in a week or so after it's totally cured.

+10000000000

I thought I was the only person on this forum who thinks the black inside lights look better than the evo 7 ones.

Not sure if it would take off the paint you used, but just yesterday i removed the nightshades spray from my taillights with a product called goof off, I ordered it from Amazon, Cause i read on different forums that people used it, And that it came off like a charm, and it did for me and now I'm Back to stock taillights.

Edit:

Here's a pic from my cellphone of what a good job they did, But again i used it for vht nightshades spray, It's pretty strong, So it actually might remove your spray to.
& when i did spray my nightshades couple months back, i used about 7 coats, So it was insane how easy it came off.

i've done a few pairs of taillights in the past when i had my dsm's. Usually to get rid of the amber on the talon taillights. They always held up perfect.

did you sand at all or did you just spray a few coats and then a few coats of clear?
