I think they look great. If I didn't lower my car, I would have gotten the flaps to make my car look like an RS Sprint.

Black mud flaps might have looked better, but the red just contrasts way too much and i'm sure over a year or so they will discolor.
When they discolor in a year, I'll buy another set for $400. When your paint has rock chips in a year, have it repainted for about $2000. My other $1400 will go to go fast parts.

P.S. If I am worryed about it "looking better" than it does with the hideous red-on-black, reminiscent-of-the-Evo-5, color scheme, then I can take off the flaps in all of 30 seconds each. So in two minutes I can go from ugly to normal.

****, I am so glad that I worry about what other people think of my car. Form follows functionality, right? These are functional.

You don't like them? Don't buy them. I am not force-feeding you mud flaps, here. After all, you did voluntarily to view this thread, right? Did you have interest in them or were you just looking for something that was different that you could flame?

Should we lose the Recaro seats unless we are going to install a 4 point harness and roll cage? Should we lose the Brembo brakes if we are not going to always do aggressive stopping? Should we lose the all wheel drive unless we are going to be driving in the snow, ice, mud, or dirt?

I see where the cost is $400. If they get caught stealing them off tractor trailers........just kidding. I would like to see somebody come out with a nice pair of body-colored molded mud guards like the ones Nissan makes for the 350Z. Now they are dope, without being dopey!

I just wanted some paint protection from rock chips. I went with these because they have been seen on Evo's for years now. They are pretty common and you can find lots of older Evo's with them on their cars. This tells me that they are pretty durable.

They also keep me under the speed limit, as they act like a set of air brakes. Without these, I would probably been thrown in jail by now for speeding. These create enough wind drag to make it impossible to go fast.
