ok here's a link to my setup. it is still in the location we left it for the mean time as we're still doing testing. once done with testing it's getting moved to the engine bay or glovebox.

This is an awful place to put your MBC. The heat from your engine might alter the spring inside the MBC and you might get inconsistent results. I would not recommend putting anywhere close to the engine like this guy did.

Personally I've place my MBC right next to my Fuse Box.

As far as length of the tubing, that does play a role in how the MBC will function. The longer the tube the more inconsistent. I wouldn't go much further than two to three feet, but that's just me.

I have the cockpit kit with my Hallman MBC. I perfer that as opposed to having it under the hood because I constantly change maps from 91, 100, and c16. Plus when the weather changes, i have to adjust it a little here and there. It's just easier than pulling over each time to adjust it. I have mine under the dash above my right knee. I'll try to post some pics tomorrow or something.
