I wanted to see what an evo would look like with a 2 tone paint job on it.

I have a silver evo 8 and I wanted to do the center black. The center of the hood(the part of the hood that V's), top of the car(in between the 2 weather striping) and the whole trunk lid only.

I would photo shop it but I don't know how to use that program. plus I don't have it.

So want to see if anyone has done this or has photo shopped this.

That guy has carbon fiber that kinda looks like a 2 tone paint job. Looks pretty awesome. IMO

 

I will be doing it to my evo III. black roof,a-b-c pillers and upper door frames with a gloss clear and the rest of the car will be daytona blue pearl flat

 

would like to see when you get it done. keep us posted.

Funny, I was just talking about this with someone yesterday.

I am in LOVE with those lights without the amber inserts. Very nice.

 

The only thing that looks right on that silver one is the hood, but even that looks like crap because there is to much gap between it and the bumper. The way that it looks from the side with the c pillar painted all the way down to the trunk but the a pillar stops above the mirrors? and the stupid looking VIII on the trunk under the EVOLUTION badge.

I understand it's someone elses car and to each there own, I'm ALL for that, and it seems like they had a great idea, but it was poorly executed by either the paint shop or the owner in how he had it done.

BTW, who ever said 2 tone is ricer, it's not. 2 tone when done right is more of a Euro thing than anything else. Don't believe me, go check it out. I came from Euro cars.
