Headlight mods have got to be the most time consuming effort for something with little to no benefit or difference. Hope you didn't waste too much time. It looks the same.

Ok! for the record, this includes those members who have PM'd me about the JDM amber pieces:

JDM amber pieces do not fit onto USDM housings.
2 things:
- There are NO "Clips Holes" on the USDM housings for the JDM piece to clip in
&
- The USDM indicator housing is a slightly different shape to its JDM counterpart

Trust me when I say it doesnt fit. Evodave can also confirm this. He even wrote a post about it too.

Headlight mods do take up some time. Lucky I make it worth my while
When you have a spare:
- Internal housing already painted black
&
- projector housing already painted

the swap over is relatively quick. Its a matter of OPEN / SWAP / RESEAL

It looks the same????:
From FULL chrome to Blacked Out/ Clear Indicator / Coloured Projector / Modded light output!!!!

pffff... You need an imagination

The person is probably really proud of their work, and the fact that they now have the same look without spending $400+.

Don't let all these haters get to your work..

I think you did a great job. Even though some might not like the Clear instead of Amber turn signals..I think it depends on what color car you put them on. Some need the amber contrast, and some don't.

First of all my lights are already blacked out and i have amber all down the sides of mine. I did not know the amber was a different size till you just told me so thank you for that information. Since that is the case ill do the same thing i did on my own lights to a spare to get my amber bottom and top again just paint the housing bby. Thanks for the new knowledge.

They look great.

How about you post a HOWTO on how to open up the lights and pull the housing out, and resealing them after paint. I bet a lot of people would like to DIY.

Im surprised there isnt a HOWTO already. Im not to keen on using the OVEN method.

Im happy sticking with the:
- Heatgun &
- Flat head screw driver method.

- It takes me about 15min to open up each side
- 2min to swap the already painted housing & projector
- 10min each side to reseal the OEM glue. This is quick because the glue is still relatively hot

It helps to have spare housings and projectors on hand

If I paint the projectors purple or green, do you think it would distort the light?
