The work is awesome, I had no idea you could paint that part to change the projector color, thats awesome.

Man, dont mind the haters, people find anything to hate on.

I'm thinking about doing my own headlights - when painting the projector lights (inside housing), do I need high temp paint? Same with the black paint for the headlight housing?

I dont really care what ppl think. These are not my headlights. I just give the look that ppl want.
Mistubishi painted:
- JDM VIIIMR
- JDM / AUDM / USDM IX projectors
a "Turquoise" color from factory. This is where I got the idea from

VIIIMR projectors:

- Yes, High temp paint for the projector cutoff shields.
Notice the spray can in the background:

- Black paint for the headlight housing doesnt necessarily have to be "HIGH TEMP"
give this paint a go:

* Gloss Black - 2321
* Flat Black - 2519
* Satin Black - 2421
Ive heard some great results on headlights

How did you pull those things apart and put them back together so nicely? They look like they have never been touched!

Good work though, they look great.

Probably bake em like I did years ago on civic headlights. Can you paint the projectors white or would that mess up the beam pattern? I'd love all blacked out and white projectors? I'm thinking of buying some 8 headlights so I can have fog lights too

Colored projectors:
Doesnt matter what color their painted, it wont affect the beam pattern

White projectors:
I will be doing this on a CZ4A set then fitting LEDs to create a new "Parker" light source. Will post some mock up pix of white projectors on a CT9A set for ya.

You should put some LEDs in there for the turnsignal. On one of my trucks I built a set of headlights and converted them to HID Bixenon and LED turnsignals/running lights.

I plan on doing my other truck this way too, I am making a set of tail lights right now and I'll do my car after I've got both my trucks finished.

Factory lights:

After I painted them to Match, Did Bixenon Projectors and LEDs.

I have little knowledge about LED setup. Its not something that im eager to learn at this stage. One day I may incorporate LED turn signals into CT & CZ headlights.

Looks like youre running a Mini H1 or D2S BiXenon projector. The solenoid spring through the lense is a dead give away from the pic above
