Has anyone replaced there window siwtches so that they have auto up and down for all four windows? Or has anyone tried?

 

That would be nice! I don;t know why it doesn't come like that.

You'd figure it cost mitsu, what a whole $150 to offer that auto up and down on all 4 windows?

 

$150 x 5000 = $750,000

Thats why they dont do it

 

All power window, lock, and interior light functions are controlled by the ETACS ECU, so it wouldn't be a switch replacement... though who knows, it's an ECU so it might be reprogrammable.

 

Sorry if I confused anyone, I woudn't assume Mitsu to not pass on the cost to the consumer. I think anyone would choose a $150 option to have this functionality. and if they profit $50 on the option then it's:

$50 x 5000 = $250,000 Gross profit.

 

I've seen ads by AutoLoc that let you do one-touch up and down like the Audi's.
