Evolution II build thread "Clone" 6bolt awd"

Hey guys,

This is my build that is over 6 years and going, had a few dsms and wanted something lighter and not your usual 6bolt 4bolt 1g or 2g awd.

Car had a 4g15 yes that's a 1.5.
car was all so auto.

Cars Current setup

Engine:

4g63 6bolt bs shafts removed
90' oil cooler
evo III O2 housing
2g manifold
evo III 16g
RC 1000's
255 pump
ETS street FMIC
Evo 8 ecu On evo scan

Drivetrain:

93+ AWd tranny 5 speed
2600 ACT
Evo III rear diff with LSD

Suspension

Tein HA full coilovers
Cusco pillow tops
Cusco strut Bars
Evo III front and rear control arms
Evo III brakes

JDM body panels & Misc all OEM

Evo III Hood
Evo II side skirts
Evo II front bumper
Evo II rear Short bumper
Evo III headlights
Evo III taillights
Evo II Momo wheel

Goals FOr 10'

Pump gas low/mid 12's
300+ Whp -pump gas

with major fab work... problem is the evo 1-3 engine trans are same as a dsm, tranny on passenger side. evo 4+ its swaped. tranny is on drivers side. allso the transer case is huge and wound need major clearance mods to the firewall to clear.

Thanks for the comments guys. Can't wait to get it on the track. Last time was late 08' and it was FWD. 13.0 @109 pump gas "14b,550's Slicks"

so you went from 1.5 auto to 2.0 manual FWD and then converted it to AWD?

If so i think i might want to start this. but i would rather start with just the engine swap and then go onto the AWD conversion.

any tips/pointers to someone who would be looking to do this?
