Your build is coming along nicely Brian!

I am a bit confused on the cams though--I see you pimping the FPs pretty hard but have seen David post many times that the Cossie M2s are his favorite on IX. Thoughts?

Actually I have had nothing but great luck with the M3's. I am the one that has said they are amazing for years now even when people were trying to sway me away from them. When everyone said run Jun, etc. I said run M3's. I love David Buschur like my Dad and always listen when he speaks as I respect his knowledge. But I dont follow everything he does. I am trying new things now and FP is a major sponsor for me. It only makes sense to run FP cams. I have a set of FP5R's here I would kill to run but way too much involved for what Im doing right now. Im saving them for later Besides, I had sent my M3 cams in when I was running the white car for a comparison to the FP cams and all I will say is Im running FP4R cams now I would've changed them back then but I had already bought, installed, and used the M3's without issue so there was no sense in pulling them out and swapping. I never mess with something that isnt broke. I will give some feedback once I run them for a few weeks. I can assure you I wouldnt run them if I wasnt confident in them...

Nice explanation! I didn't mean to suggest that we should all follow suggestions made by well respected shops to the tee. Taking a chance with other part combinations is what opens the door to potentially better setups. I look forward to your results!

How about some videos? Maybe you can make a tribute video to your evo9. Evos are addicting...

How much power should the green make over a ported 9. I don't know much about that turbo at all!

Bingo i love this statement. I get tired of the thought mentality of some people theres only one way one company blah blah blah. Some of use love being door busters and finding new stuff that works better or just as well but people did not want to be a pioneer of it the Fp Cams are gangster and a beast comboed with there turbo they are doing wonders for me and im positive Most wanted will rock these to perfection and get exactly what he wants out of them and then some.

This HTA green will make more power from what I'm learning and have seen. Of course the only way to know will be through actual testing. But it looks like it should make 430whp on 93 and around 500 or so on E85. Im doing 93 octane first, just waiting on the cams to arrive. I also have to figure out what I'm doing for a trans. I want to avoid a ton of down time while the trans is at Sheps so I am thinking of buying a spare to ship out. So lots to do.... But the Green is looking very promising for use as a daily and road race unit
