water spots on car

Anyone know how to remove water spots off a Zaino'd car? Just washed my car today after about 3 weeks, since I've been so busy. They're huge drops and look like freckles on the car. I can rub it with my finger hard to remove them, but I don't think that's good for it.

gotta take better care of the Evo man!!

sounds like just a good coat of wax will get rid of them... hoping it isnt something like tree sap or dried up soda, that will kill the paint big time.

good luck

Let me let you guys in a a detailer's secret, It's called Whink(R) Rust Stain Remover http://www.whink.com/.
Put it on a clean, soft rag, Wipe the area. At first, it will not seem to stick on the areas, them it will take off the spot's completely (you may see it smoke slightly). When the spots are gone, have a clean, soft rag with water or windex to remove the Whink (neutralizer).
It's a weak acid. It also removes all wax, polish, etc.. , so you have to re-apply the afftected ares. I won'y hurt the paint unless you leave it on.
It works really good on windows that are water spotted.
You can order online, or most Walmarts carry it in the laundry detergent isle, by the dyes and other stain removers.
I've been using it for years, no problems.
VERY IMPORTANT TO REMOVE WHINK AFTER SPOTS ARE GONE.

I'm talking about water spots that get dried on there after a rain. It's very impractical for me to dry the whole car after a rain. It isn't the summer so I don't have the time to wash the car every week or two, so those water spots stay. Here's what they look like after I dried the car from a wash:

Hi all,

I also have some water spots on the car, but it's not on the body but on the windows. Looks like they are hard water stains, and it's impossible to get it off. I've tried almost everything, including rain-x glass polish, different glass cleaners, clay bar, wax...
Do you guys know how to get rid of them?

Thx

I have them on my windows too, but not as bad as my whole body. It's like my car is freckled now! This never happened when I used Meguiar's wax. I'm doing Zaino now.

Just get the Absorber at Wal-Mart. Its a synthetic chamois (but 100x better!) and it takes 5 minutes to suck all the water off your car....leaves it looking professionally shiny, IF you have a good wax. Even without a good wax, its way better than just letting puddles of water dry out as spots on your car.

I do use the Absorber. I also use Zaino.

I always used white vinegar to remove hard water spots.
