This weekend I whipped up some side skirt extensions (the voltex skirts have a nice lip to mount them on with ease). They are made of thick plastic and weigh nothing, I also started attacking my car with a hole saw.

 

Happy T-Day my Evo brothers! Here is a quick lap from my time attack last weekend. I placed 1st overall, 1st in my class and I locked up my class championship for the year. The car ran great and was fast I the driver on the other hand was slow. I couldn't really get a good feel in the car as I felt disconnected (my mind seemed to be other places). Enough with the rambling here you go, short and sweet video:

Well longtime no update......... Life has been pretty wild these last few months and I haven't had much time to turn wrenches. I got some goodies in the mail so time to wrench.



Started gutting and cutting crap out of the car. I am currently working on the trunk set up. I am gonna mount it with aerocatch latches and clasps in the rear and possibly come up with some simple wing support stands on the inside of the trunk (get rid of the compression that is happening on trunk lid at speed).



Walbro 450 and my FPR set up came in too. Gonna strap the car back on the dyno in February in prep for Global Time Attack in Phoenix in March. I am kick around the idea of going speed density????? Yes or no? Reason?
