"Silverfish" Evo 9 MR BUILD
So I got the manifold and turbo bolted up and went to install the o2 housing and it was hitting my A/C compressor
It was just about 1/4" maybe less into it. I got my sheet metal hammer out and went to work. I flatten the one side out just a little to clear the A/C compressor. I wasn't very happy about doing that but it had to be done. Then on to the dump tube. It had a long radius 90 and about 8" of straight. It was made to dump right where the A/C compressor was sitting and with me running A/C that wasn't about to happen. The car they used to build the manifold and dump tube didn't have A/C and i guess they missed the part where i said i wanted to keep mine. Its not a big deal because i just cut the 90 down and on a angle so i could rotate it 180 to dump down by the started. I had to extend the dump tube to get below the motor too. I didn't take before and after pictures but if you look at AFI's facebook you'll see them. I'll take better pictures today when finish welding it up. I still need to make a down pipe which i'm not very happy about. I paid for a down pipe/ o2 housing and only received a o2 housing.

I also needed to make a LICP because I was running the stock one from my stock turbo setup. Here's what I came up with. It only took about 20 mins to mock up. It was late and I didn't get any good pictures. I'll take more today.

Thanks. I'm not sure how the A/c's going to like that extra heat but good thing i have an extra compressor just for back up. I started the car and let it idle for about 20 mins and didn't have any leaks. It was smoking a little because i didn't hook up the MIVEC oil control line. It stopped once i hooked it up. I still need to seat the rings and then put some miles on it. I haven't really driven it because i need to get a 4" intake. I'm not a fan of running a open turbo and don't plan on do it anytime soon.
