Since you will be taking out the turbo and possibly rebuilding it have you looked in to having it sent to FP and turning it into HTA?

I was thinking about doing that but I didn't want the car to be done for too long. There's a local guy thats been waiting for 2 maybe even 3 months. I head the wheels are on back order. I would love the added spool with the HTA wheel. I'm on a STD 35R with a 82 hotside and hit full boost at 5000. I was think HTA and a smaller hot side and i would hit full boost in the 4k range maybe.

To be 100% honest its not worth it in the end unless your single and don't have much of a life lol. I really lost a good amount of time with my family. I haven't added up all the parts and cost to get a total price but will soon. I also shopped around a lot and got some GREAT deals. It took a lot of time watching the for sale threads. I will tell you the BEST vendor on here is hands down MAP. Contact Adam and he'll make your dream come true. If you want to know more PM me and we can talk details.

I just need to get a BR double pumper and get the turbo sent out before it starts to cool off. Then its tuning and track time.

So the car's coming apart again. I'm changing my setup for more TQ. The plan is going to be a 2.3L with a custom CNC'ed head. I'll be selling some parts that I don't use on the new build. I want a setup that's better for autoX and road racing (without changing turbo setups). I enjoy drag racing but want a car that can do it all. I'm looking for a Stock untouched EVO 9 head to trade for my fully ported head. I'll be starting a new build thread for the new setup once I get started.

Will you be buying a stroker kit and assembling it yourself?

I'm not 100% sure. I've really busy at work and don't really have the time to build another motor. It also depends on if I can find someone to trade me heads. If I get a stock head then Insane Speed will do doing the build and doing one of their crazy CNC jobs but they need a stock head to do it. If I can't find someone to trade me i'll most likely do the build and just reuse my head. It will just take a few months to get the build done rather then going with Insane Speed which would be a week or two.
