I pulled the head last night and dropped the pistons. Looks like I installed the rings upside down. I don't mind admitting when i screw up but i even called Manley to double check before I installed them and the guy I spoke to was wrong. Their directions aren't car specific so i wanted to call and double check ( I won't do that again). I just got off the phone with a builder and he confirmed it. I'm just glad i didn't screw anything up. I'm going to order new rings and get it back on the road.

So i got the car all put back together and its on the road again. So my problem was Manley tech support gave me incorrect info. The directed me to install the Gray ring on top with the dot up and the black ring on the bottom. The was incorrect and caused a good amount of blow by. I pulled everything back apart and its good now. I've got about 10 miles on her so far so good. I went ahead and installed my GSC s2 while i was fixing the rings. I should have it completely broke in within a month then its time for the DYNO.

I am glad to hear you found the problem and were able to fix it. You've put in a lot of hard work, time, and money into the car.

Thanks, I was getting sick of working on it but in the end it feels great to drive in again. I just need to put some miles on it and turn up the boost.
