Patrick B.'s Evo 9 Update............FINALLY LOL!

As for the cams i will save that as 1 of the last things to add to the mix later after i see how she does w/ this set-up if i need to make more power.
We have a set of Kelford 280's sitting at the shop i may try but i'm open to other options maybe some GSC's............?
Sad to hear you're selling your Evo
is that true?
Well all the mechanical issues are fixed and Sean was tuning the car until about 8-9pm last night but he couldn't finish as we ran out of fuel
I will get some more E85 and Sean should finish up the tune on Mon or sometime this week and i plan to take her up to Sac next Sat.
As for now it's making good power w/ 40psi of boost w/ room to grow as there is hardly any timing int it according to Sean.
Also have a bit more boost to play with but we will creep up on it slowly as i'd rather datalog at the track and turn it up if things look good there.
On a side note the fuel system is looking ok so far the FP duty cycle is at 78% by 8750 rpm.
Sorry i didn't get a pic of the graph as i had left for the night while Sean was still cracking away at it.

I run a BR DP'er / FIC 2150's / FIC rail / oem FP reg
Yes sir it should make well into the 700's once finished but i will have Sean tune it to what he feels comfortable and then get some much needed seat time to shake off the rust from the driver
Ok well it's done for now until we hit the track on Sat.
The car still has very little timing according to Sean from 7000rpm on up so power should keep on climbing but i want to be sure to get some data before going for it!
That's already almost 100WHP more than when it ran 9.82@143mph
Sorry i was at work when he finished up so just a cell phone pic from him and sorry no dyno vid but if one of the guys took one i'll post it up tonight.

FWIW when it was making 520 it was running 10.75 and trapping 135
So on my car for every 100hp increase it seems to bump up 8-10 mph.

I spin the motor to 9000 and cross the line in 4th now at 8800 rpm.
I'm sure i can spin it a little higher but the longevity of the motor is of prime concern.
Thanks......and oops i will try and get a better full sized graph up soon
