Things took a bit longer than expected but it is what it is.........hope to have it fired up after work tonight I will update the thread with how the new 6766 sounds!

Will be nice to get behind the wheel and make athe pass down the drag strip again.

 

Yea I hear ya man, when i was doing my build it took longer then expected as well. But in the end its all worth it! I cant wait to hear and read your feedback on the 6766! Im sending mine in soon to get it converted to the 66!

After all dialed in, you might be knocking on the door of a 8 sec pass as well!

Just got back from the shop unfortunately ran into a small issue but a PITA none the less!

Was priming the motor and noticed oil on the back of the block on my scatter shield near the MIVEC banjo fitting.

Checked the hard line and re-torqued the bolt and there was still oil coming from somewhere

Come to find out that one of the hex plugs that goes in the back of the head next to the 14mm bolt on the IM flange was not put back in after the head came back from the machine shop (my fault for not checking).

So i had to pull the IM off and plug it up, clean/dry everything up, and get the IM bolted back up.

Need to double check everything once again tomorrow after work and it should fire right up

Weather forecast says cloudy but 60* at the track on Sat........

 

very nice pat cant wait for this car to be running on its own power, keep me updated if you guys head to the track i wouldnt mind tagging along
