I run a Hella truck horn (~300Hz). The horn is mounted below the driver's side headlight and hidden by the front clip. I only bought one. Didn't see any reason for a pair, just as I can't think of a reason why the horn should be seen. If only the Supertones were available, I would have painted them black.

Stock next to the Hella. FWIW, the Hella tips the scales at ~1.5lbs.

Do you have a sound clip of the horns in action?

I don't. Mine sounds like a relatively big truck. It's easily noticed by other motorists when used as a safety feature, as intended. That was the whole point of the upgrade.

i mounted mine to where the intercooler bolts to the radiator support! might be hard having them both there because the fan gets in the way. My orginal plan was to have them both up there to but just mounted the second where the factory horn is!

its longer taking the bumper off then actually fitting them.

Thanks! but yeah, like nursebetty said, I also made a bracket, just a 7 or so inch long black bracket, bolted it where the intercooler bolts up, and drilled 2 holes for the horns to bolt up to. they are easy to wire, just ground one of the leads and connect the other to the stock horn's positive wire and you are good.
