Didn't the plans originally call for an Exedy Triple?

Also, I notice you're using an aftermarket dampener. Do you find it necessary or to help in any way?

I also noticed the block was o-ringed. Is it filled at all? Would it not survive without the steel o-rings?

Any pictures of your catch can set up completed and routed? I know the Ricer had a similar setup but digging around I can't find pictures.

Lastly, any plans to run a oil cooler? How many miles do you plan to put on the aluminum rods?

Sorry for all the questions, but this just happens to be my favorite build for a multitude of reasons.

They did. I still have my Twin carbon tilton here with a little meat left so I will be using that until its gone.

I have a damper sitting by the motor now but have not installed it and am not really sure if I am going to due to the extra weight. I am sure the stock one will work fine.

I'm not really interested in finding out. O-ring is cheap insurance.

None right now as I have not 100% figured that out yet and probably will not until everything is in the car.

Probably not going to use an Oil cooler. Another thing I am not really sure on yet but more than likely not.

Emery,

I've been thinking about picking up that AN fitting for the balance shaft inspection hole. Is there enough room for this when using a stock framed turbo setup? Usually an aftermarket turbo kit provides more clearance between the turbo and block. Just eyeballing it, it doesn't look like there's enough room for the fitting with a stock turbo, but I didn't know if it was something you had done before?

I'm actually not sure. I have not done this with a stock frame turbo yet.

I love going to the shop to see this thing, It really is amazingly clean. It's one of those pictures don't do it justice deals. Attention to even minor detail is key, and its showing

I went and had a talk with the motor, shes ready to go Ricky Bobby fast. This bi-polar winter needs to hurry up and go somewhere so we can make all the old guys at the track drop their jaws

what about a 90* on that fitting to allow for fitment with stock turbos?

use a banjo. It's more compact.

If I find a solution that definitely works, I'll post up. Mullen, Ernie, please do the same if you figure something out.

It's 12mmx1.5 IIRC... it would be interesting if you could use a larger fitting.

You can also use the balance shaft plugs that are on the OTHER side of the block for breathers. Pretty easily drilled and tapped to 1/4" NPT. You'd have to do a B/S delete similar to how I did mine and not flip the bearings, but plug the oil feed holes with 1/16NPT pipe plugs. You could use both of them to -6... y them together and make it one -10AN line to your catch can... and you won't have any clearance issues with your turbocharger
